Rebecca M. Townsend teaches courses in human communication, works with student groups, and researches political deliberation, culture & communication, and public participation processes.
Principal Investigator for a $77,000 grant from the Federal Transit Administration's Public Transportation Participation Pilot Program. The project involves community service learning and local deliberation of transit planning needs with community groups.
